First thing: all bands that want to be considered for coverage by Something Like Sound should use the "We Want You" link with the nifty picture of Uncle Sam (on the right hand side of the page)

Second Thing: I really would love to see Dualistics hit the radio-waves, I think their style is incredibly radio friendly (perhaps even a little more than some of the bands we've blogged about here). We wish them the best of luck.

Jessica -

I have no idea why you would go out of your way to post this generic plug for alt. country singer/songwriter Chris Brecht. My guess is this cookie-cutter response is plastered all over the web, and while all publicity is good publicity, you should learn to be a little more creative about plugging Chris Brecht. In other words, your intern tag is showing.

Moving on, the Dualistics EP is tangible proof that the band is evolving. I've seen the group a handful of times live, and I fine myself humming the sweet riff from Pure Sorcery after each show. They've really established themselves as one of the premier guitar bands in Denver. It freaking boggles my mind that local radio hasn't picked up on these guys.

If you haven't had the pleasure of seeing them live yet, it truly is a Must See for music enthusiasts. Check out a show, go to their MySpace page and let's make Dualistics the next great Denver band!

Hey, I'm a publicist intern for Chris Brecht. He's playing in Denver at Meadowlark on July 8th at 10pm. Chris is an alt. country singer/songwriter... keeps it real and doesn't do digital. He's always writing songs and their planning on coming out with two new albums pretty soon. His 2008 debut album the Great Ride" is recorded on 2" tape. Check out"nighthighway99" its classic alt. country song.. the sound is pretty wild...like old whiskeytown, early Wilco. He just released love budget video on you tube/ myspace for it too. Heres links to his websites. Thanks.
