Updated Link Categories

From time-to-time I like to go through and do some housekeeping around this here blog. Today marks the introduction of several new link categories to help you, the reader, find your way to new and exciting places. Here’s a rundown of the new categories and what you’ll find in each.
“The Arts”- As ambiguous as this sounds (hence, the quotation marks), “The Arts” is intended to cover the areas of art (duh!), books, comics, video games, and anything else that is remotely creative but not necessarily music related. Be sure to read Dinosaur Comics, they’re the best. Also check out local comic artist Noah Van Sciver (you may recognize him as the guy who draws “4 Questions” in Westword).
Blogosphere- Other major and not-so-major music related websites. Nothing really new here, just a bunch of my old favorites. If you’ve got a favorite site that should be up there leave a comment and I’ll give it a look.
Engineering- What’s a blog with the subtitle “When engineers write a music blog…” without some engineering links!?! I’ve included organizations of which I am a member (ASME, TBP), links to the best engineering school in Colorado and its newspaper, links for the SLS social media outlets, and Wolfram|Alpha, a web-tool that has saved my engineering butt more than a few times (check it out especially if you have to do any differential equation-calculus).
